Copyright, Artwork & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original artwork, illustrations, characters, paintings, designs, patterns, photographs, graphics, product designs, written content, branding, logos, packaging designs, and other creative materials created by or for First Time Living are the intellectual property of their respective owner and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a First Time Living product does not transfer ownership, copyright, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or commercial rights to the artwork or design.

Unless you have received prior written permission from First Time Living, you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, trace, redraw, or substantially replicate our original artwork or designs for commercial purposes.

• Digitize our artwork for resale or commercial distribution.

• Sell or distribute reproductions of our artwork.

• Use our artwork on merchandise or other products for sale.

• Upload our artwork to print-on-demand, manufacturing, or marketplace platforms for commercial use.

• Sell digital copies, scans, photographs, or downloadable versions of our artwork.

• Claim our original artwork or designs as your own.

• Use our original artwork, branding, or designs to create unauthorized commercial products or collections.

Purchasing a print, sticker, postcard, stationery item, digital product, or other First Time Living product grants you ownership of the purchased item—not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Personal use of purchased products is permitted.

Where applicable, First Time Living reserves all rights not expressly granted.

Original Artwork & Product Variations

First Time Living products may feature original hand-drawn, painted, digitally created, or otherwise artist-created designs.

Because artwork may be reproduced across different materials and printing processes, slight variations in color, texture, placement, cropping, size, or appearance may occur.

Colors displayed on your screen may also differ from the colors of the physical product.

These reasonable variations are not considered defects.

Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our products, pricing, descriptions, availability, and policies.

Occasional typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur. First Time Living reserves the right to correct errors and update information when appropriate.

Product Availability

Products, artwork, collections, subscription offerings, quantities, and designs may be changed, limited, or discontinued.

Placing an item in your shopping cart does not reserve the item. An order is not confirmed until checkout has been successfully completed and payment has been accepted.

Snail Mail Subscription

First Time Living Snail Mail is a recurring subscription unless otherwise stated at checkout.

When you subscribe during one month, you are reserving the following month's Snail Mail.

For example, a subscription purchased during September is for the October Snail Mail.

Monthly Snail Mail orders are scheduled to be mailed during the first week of the applicable month.

Subscription billing, cancellation, fulfillment, shipping, and refunds are also subject to the policies and terms displayed on our website and at checkout.

Events Outside Our Control / Force Majeure

First Time Living will make reasonable efforts to process and fulfill orders according to the timelines stated on our website.

However, we are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside of our control.

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

• Severe weather or natural disasters

• Fires, floods, earthquakes, or other acts of God

• Postal or shipping carrier disruptions

• Transportation interruptions

• Power or internet outages

• Government actions or restrictions

• Labor strikes or widespread work stoppages

• Supply-chain or manufacturing disruptions

• Public emergencies

• Widespread service interruptions

• Other extraordinary circumstances outside of our reasonable control

If one of these events affects our ability to fulfill an order or monthly Snail Mail shipment, fulfillment may be delayed for a reasonable period while the disruption continues.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

Shipping & Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been handed over to USPS or another shipping carrier, transit and delivery are outside of First Time Living's direct control.

Weather events, carrier delays, postal disruptions, and other circumstances may affect estimated delivery times.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for additional information regarding shipping, lost mail, addresses, and delivery.

Third-Party Services

Our store may rely on third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, manufacturers, and other service providers.

First Time Living is not responsible for outages, interruptions, policies, or other circumstances involving third-party services that are outside of our reasonable control.

Use of those services may also be subject to the respective provider's terms and policies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, First Time Living will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in this Legal Notice is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

First Time Living may update this Legal Notice and other store policies when necessary.
